Tops & Bottoms
We can eat different parts of many kinds of plants! The Hearne Huskies identified all the edible plant parts and nutrients from a variety of crops. Each team created a poster and a performance to explain its nutrient! Along with some great performances, the students helped in a Red Leaf Lettuce and Strawberry Salad recipe demonstration. Although, they found that the dressing was a bit sour, they loved the red leaf lettuce!
